tucked away at the top of Le Pigeonnier is a spectacular loft bedroom, it's like a secret waiting to be discovered... how many times do you get to sleep in a completely round bedroom? looking up at the huge old timber beams and the amazing craftsmanship of the central roof timbers you almost feel as if you are in a fairy story. the walls still have the holes where the doves perches were placed and the creamy french furniture add to the magical feeling that you get as soon as you step up into this amazing room. the elegant bedroom furniture and crisp, white french linens are the perfect foil to the beautiful old oak timbers and the dramatic stone walls, creating a contemporary twist to an historic building. trés chic! one thing is for sure... the doves never had it this good! |
