on the middle floor, the master bedroom is sensitively furnished with an antique brass and iron double bed that was originally destined to become part of a yorkshire farm fence!... thankfully, the bed was rescued and lovingly renovated and is now the perfect place to lay back and truly relax, it's a long way from a yorkshire farm to a dovecot in France but it was worth the journey to give this bed the setting it deserves. a honey coloured, stripped wooden floor with a rich persian rug, antique washstand, chest of drawers and wardrobe complete the tasteful furnishings and cosy feel of this romantic room. the bedroom is complimented by an ultra modern, sleek shower room that is small but perfectly formed! or simply sit in the window seat, read a book, gaze across the fields and drink in the atmosphere of this charming setting - guaranteed to bring you sweet dreams... |
